Kristina Kjær Hansen a danish designer
Kristina Kjær Hansen is a danish designer specialised in furniture and interior designer. She just graduated from Teko design & business with a BA in furniture design but her work is already impressive. A selection:
i) "Strik is a snuggly armchair, that consists of a frame made of ash tree and a knitted upholstery made of wool - a wooden “body” wearing a knitted “sweater”. The upholstery is reversible and can also be used as a blanket."
ii) "Birdstick is a small and flexible storage unit inspired by nesting boxes and trees. The nesting boxes are turnable and can be placed freely on the pole, using distance pieces and dowels made from oak."
iii) "Vilfred is a small and flexible writing desk.“Vilfred’s” idiom is inspired by the classic writing desk. The clean lines and the integrated shielding, in the form of a "house" on top of the table top, gives the desk a contemporary expression."
