Beach House in Comporta, Portugal
It's raining and it's 18 degrees and I'm dreaming of sunny destinations where's still Summer. In Portugal, August is THE "Summer month" where everyone engages on holiday and sun-secking crowds move to the South. In the way down South there's this secret, only an hour from Lisbon nearby the peninsula of Troia, a small village called Comporta. According to the Guardian "Comporta, in Portugal, is like Ibiza but on a really good day" with low prices and no crowds. We hope that a secret to be kept but the rising of some big real estate projects will not help.
Meanwhile discovered by some happy few, in Comporta you can find amazing beach houses inspired by the fisherman's huts, like casas na areia (for rental) or this amazing beach house designed by Pequenina Rodriguez.
The Pequenina's beach house is composed by four fishing huts with different functions. In the main hut lies the living room and kitchen and in the other three master bedroom and bathroom and three guest rooms. The huts are built on sand and connected by paths through the dunes.
This is just my dreaming hut!
